התאספנו ביחד עם הבעלים החוקי של הקרקע, ליד ההתנחלות נוקדים, כדי לנטוע שתלי עצי זית.
בהתנחלות זו גר שר החוץ אביגדור ליברמן שהיה עסוק באותה הזמן בסיור על גבול הצפון, כדי לקושש קולות למפלגתו המתפוררת על רקע התחממות הגבול.
הצבא ניסה בתחילה לעמוד בדרכנו ואליו הצטרפו מתנחלים. מתנחלת אחת שצילמה באובססיביות את הנוטעים במכשיר הסלולארי שלה ואף ניסתה לחסום את הכביש, זעמה כששמעה חייל דרוזי מדבר ערבית וסטרה לו. היא כמובן לא נעצרה ואפשר רק לדמיין לאיזה יחס היינו זוכים לו היינו מרשים לעצמנו להתנהל כך. למרות המטרד המשכנו בדרכנו.
מתנחל רכוב על סוס גידף את המפגינים בערבית משובשת ומתנחל נוסף הסתובב בין הנוטעים לצד החיילים וצילם אותנו עם המכשיר הסלולארי שלו.
כשסיימנו את נטיעות העצים הבחנו בקבוצת מתנחלים מרוחקת. הם המתינו שהצבא יפנה אותנו כדי שיוכלו לעקור נטוע.
